Today was following a thread on Storytime Underground’s Facebook group (if you’re involved in children’s librarian things, then you should really join this group and also follow their amazeballs blog). The overall topic was about how to handle a situation during a LEGO club where an older boy shoved a younger one.
At some point, one of the participants riffed on Fight Club: “The first rule of Lego Club: you do not fight at Lego Club. The second rule of Lego Club is: you do not fight at Lego Club. Third rule of Lego Club: someone yells “stop”, goes limp, taps out, the fight is over…”
After I stopped laughing I knew that I must make a version of this – it was too awesome of an idea not to. Here it is:
Feel free to use it if you’d like (click on the image to get a larger version) – but I can’t imagine anyone really using it for reals in their LEGO club marketing. But if you do use it – then I’d love to know (and the reaction to it) for my ego’s sake. Also, I must say that I like your style.
A big thank you goes to the two librarians who inspired this – you know who you are (or if you’d like me to share your name, then just email me and I’ll add proper props to ya here).
